Red Cedar in the Hour of Chaos continues Khu.eex’s journey through genres, characteristic of their work.  While still grounded in the influence of their late co-founder Bernie Worrell and P-Funk, the album’s scenes traverse jazz, hip-hop, doom metal, psychedelia, and soul; while also bearing cinematic influences of David Lynch and Takeshi Kitano.  

Khu.éex’ is an Indigenous band full of creative members, including storytellers, activists and artists, that bring this collective energy to the stage as one powerful unit.
