See a new collection of works in blown glass by Preston Singletary at the Douglas Reynolds Gallery in Vancouver. BC. These new glass sculptures deal with themes of Tlingit mythology and traditional designs, to shape Singletary's contemporary perspective of Native culture. "Preston Singletary: Tlingit Modernism" is on view October 21st - November 18th, 2023.

Join Preston Singletary at the Douglas Reynolds Gallery as h​e discusses this new body of work which is reflective of his different styles, from representing traditional cultural objects to making contemporary abstractions inspired by Modernism. His work continues the narrative thread of Tlingit style while reflecting on new directions for an ancient culture. In this presentation he will also discuss the development of his work and the arc of his career.
